Make a Card: "I Love You So Much" – Penguin

Here you’ll create something that’s not only fun but also warms hearts: a penguin card with the phrase "I love you so much!" Perfect for Valentine's Day, birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or just because. This card is a great way to bring joy to someone special. So grab your pens and scissors, let’s get started!

What you'll need

White square paper
Black crayon
Colored pencils or felt-tip pens
Scissors
Glue stick
Colored paper for the card
Pencil (if you want to sketch first)

How it works

Grab a white square sheet of paper. Fold it in half to create a rectangle. Unfold it to see the center line. Tip: Make sure the edges line up nicely, it makes everything easier!
Take a black crayon. Draw a large "8" on the sheet, continuously without lifting your crayon. The penguin's head should be at the top of the paper. The bottom part will be the body. Tip: Press down firmly so the "8" is clearly visible later!
Color in the head black. Draw wings on the left and right that must be exactly in the center fold of the paper. Add feet at the bottom. A triangle will be the beak and a wobbly eye will be the eye.
Cut out the penguin. On the left and right, about at the height of the wing middle, cut a straight line. Caution: Do NOT cut through the wings themselves, but around the paper. The outer area that does not belong to the wing will be completely cut away.
Fold the card back in half so the penguin is visible. Bend the arms forward first, then backward. Open the card and fold it again in the other direction. Now you can flap the arms so it looks like the penguin is moving its wings.
Write on the penguin's paper: "I love you so much!" or something else that comes from the heart. Take colored paper and cut it to card size. Fold the colored paper in half to create a card. Glue the penguin inside.
You can write "Open" on the front of the card. Your penguin card is ready! Your penguin is not only cute but also a special surprise for someone you really care about. Each penguin can look different. Make it as unique as you are!
