Your favorite club, your national team, or your fantasy team—here you create your own paper jersey! With just a piece of paper and a few folds, you can make a cool jersey. After that, you can color it, add a number on the back, and write the name of your favorite player or your own name on it. While crafting, you practice precision, spatial thinking, and patience. Sometimes a fold doesn't turn out perfectly right away. That's okay! Just try again. This way, you learn to find solutions and not give up. Maybe you'll make several jerseys for your family or friends and start your own team. Which team will win?

What you'll need

1 sheet of paper (A4 or A5)
Colored pencils or felt-tip pens
Optional: Stickers or glitter

How it works

Lay the paper horizontally in front of you. Fold it lengthwise in half and then unfold it. The center line will help you with the folding.
Fold both long sides to the center line. Press all edges firmly.
Fold the two upper corners of one short side outward. This will create the sleeves of your jersey.
Turn the paper over. Fold the other short side back about half a centimeter. This will be the collar later.
Turn the paper over. Fold the corners into the center fold towards the collar.
Fold the side with the sleeves up until it can be tucked under the small collar. Now your jersey has its shape.
Color your jersey in the colors of your favorite team. Add a number, a name, a club logo, or design your own team. This way, every jersey becomes unique!
