What you'll need
- 1 to 2 kg of rice
- Food coloring
- Seal-able bags
- A little vinegar
- Bowl or large tray
How it works

Measure out a cup of rice and put it in a bag. Each bag of rice will get its own color. Add a splash of color and a teaspoon of vinegar to the rice. The vinegar is the secret trick to make the colors stick properly.

Now seal the bags and shake them vigorously. Watch how the rice absorbs the colors and becomes colorful.
