What you'll need

  • Water
  • Juicer
  • Lemons
  • Sugar
  • Various fruits
  • Mint
  • Straws

How it works

  1. Cut the lemons in half and squeeze the juice from the halves into a bowl or measuring cup. If you have a strainer, you can pour the juice through it to filter out the seeds and pulp.

  2. Make the sugar syrup. In a pot, combine one cup of sugar and two cups of water and heat it on the stove until the sugar is completely dissolved. Stir in the lemon juice. Let the syrup cool and steep in the fridge for a day.

  3. Now it's time to taste your lemonade! Add some ice to each glass and fill it with sparkling water. Add a splash of lemon syrup and stir everything together. Taste your lemonade to see if you need to add more sugar, lemon juice, or water.

  4. Enjoy your lemonade or even sell it! Pour it into glasses or bottles and sell it at a flea market or on the street corner. Have fun making and selling your own lemonade.
