Make a Star from Baking Paper
Christmas is just around the corner, and what could be more beautiful than a magical star that you made yourself? With baking paper and a little glue, you can create a wonderful Christmas star! The star you made will bring light into your room, just like the real starry sky outside in winter.
What you'll need
- 10x baking paper bags
- Glue stick
- String
- Hole punch or needle
- Scissors
How it works
-
Take ten baking paper bags. They come in white, brown, or even red. Place the first bag in front of you with the closed side facing you.
-
Spread glue on the bag - completely along the long side in the middle. Place the next bag directly on top and press down so that the short sides stick to each other and the long sides stick together. Repeat this process until all the bags are stacked.
-
Trim the open end of the stacked bags to achieve your desired star shape. Whether pointy or rounded – let your imagination run wild!
-
Now carefully open the bags and spread them out like a fan. Glue the two outer sides together to form a star.
-
Find a nice spot in your home for your Christmas star. When light shines through the baking paper, it will glow beautifully! Have fun and enjoy a sparkling Christmas season!
