Making an Advent Spiral

The Advent season is full of excitement and magic. With a homemade Advent spiral, you can count the days until Christmas Eve. Every day, add a marble!

What you'll need

air-drying modeling clay
24 marbles
crafting surface
acrylic paint
paintbrush

How it works

Take the modeling clay and shape it into a long roll. Make sure it's big enough for all 24 marbles.
Then, form it into a spiral.
Use your finger or the marbles to make 24 small indentations in the spiral.
Place your spiral in a quiet spot and let it dry thoroughly.
If you like, you can now paint your dried spiral in colorful ways. Glitter, dots, stripes - be creative!
Starting from December 1st, place a marble in an indentation each day. This way, you count the days until Christmas Eve! Have fun crafting and enjoy a magical Advent season!
