What you'll need

  • Rope

How it works

  1. Make a loop with your rope. This is our pond. One end of the rope crosses over the other like a cross.

  2. The end of the rope, our snake, now slips through the pond and appears on the other side.

  3. Now pull on both ends to tighten the knot. And there you have your knot! Well done! With a little practice, it will become very easy. Remember: form the pond, cross the ends, and the snake pops up.
