What you'll need

  • Printer and paper
  • Optional: Laminating sheets
  • Optional: Laminating machine
  • Pens
  • Optional: Dry-erase markers

How it works

  1. Print out the bingo templates and laminate them. Everyone gets a card and a dry-erase marker. Find the items shown (traffic signs, animals, vehicles) and mark them. The first person to complete a row or diagonal shouts 'Bingo!' and wins.

  2. Count vehicles. Take a piece of paper and a pen. Everyone chooses vehicle types (cars, trucks, motorcycles) and counts them during the ride. Make a tally for each vehicle spotted. At the end of the ride, compare your results. The person who counted the most vehicles wins.

  3. Find traffic signs. While driving, look for these signs and mark them when you see them. The person who finds the most signs wins. This game helps you learn about different traffic signs.

  4. Count animals. Look out the window during the ride and count the animals you see (cows, horses, etc.). Each player can choose animal types or count them all together. Make a tally for each animal spotted. The person who counted the most animals at the end of the ride wins.

  5. Search for colors. Each player looks for vehicles in the specified colors during the ride. Every time you see a vehicle in your color, mark it on the template. The person who finds five vehicles in each color at the end of the ride wins.
