Finding Happiness
Once upon a time, there was a little rabbit named Lucky. Lucky was not satisfied with his life because he believed that happiness could be found somewhere out there. So he decided to go on a quest. He met many animals along the way who told him that happiness lived in different places. A hedgehog said it lived in the rainbow. Others said it could be found in the mountains. But Lucky kept searching. Finally, he met a wise owl who said, "Happiness is not out there; it is within you." Lucky was confused. He hadn't expected to find happiness inside himself. But the owl explained it to him.
How it works
-
Happiness is within each of us. It depends on how we feel and how we view our lives.
-
When we appreciate what we have and are grateful for it, we feel happy. Lucky thought about this...
-
Think about what makes you happy. Each of us is different and has different things. Consider what truly makes you happy and draw or write it down.
-
Often, there is so much happening around us that we don't notice all the good things in our lives. Take a few minutes each day to reflect on the positive aspects of your life.
-
Do something that makes you happy. Whether it's a sport, a hobby, or something else. If it makes you happy, you should do it.
-
Stop comparing yourself to others. Each of us has our own journey. Focus on yourself and not on others.
-
Talk to friends and family. Sometimes it helps to share your thoughts and feelings. Speak to someone you trust. So go ahead and find your own happiness!
