Carnival Mask Drawn with Your Hand
Imagine your own hand turning into a colorful carnival mask! With a simple sheet of paper, you can create a cool face to play, dress up, and take photos in just a few steps. Fold the paper, place your hand on it, and trace its shape. When you cut it out, something exciting happens: when you unfold the paper, a big mask appears, almost like a butterfly, a superhero, or a funny animal face. Now you can get creative. Draw eyes, patterns, or dots. Each mask looks different, just like you. With the handle, you can hold the mask in front of your face and play little carnival stories with friends or take memorable photos.
What you'll need
- 1 A4 sheet
- Pen
- Scissors
- Paper straw or stick
- Tape
How it works

Place the A4 sheet in front of you. Fold it in half so that a short closed edge is created.

Put your hand with spread fingers on the closed side. The knuckles start right at the fold edge. Slowly trace around your fingers and hand with the pen.

Carefully cut out the lines. Do not cut through the fold edge.

Unfold the paper. Now you see your big mask! Hold the mask in front of your face. Mark with a pen where your eyes are. Draw two eye shapes there. Carefully cut out the eyes so you can see through.

Draw patterns, an animal face, or a superhero on your mask.

Glue a paper straw as a handle on the back. Tip: Hold the mask in front of your face and take a carnival photo, perfect as a memory.
