At home, place your flowers in a container with water first. This keeps them fresh while you plan your bouquet. Now you can see all the flowers clearly and decide which ones to use.

Select a vase that matches your flowers. Is it tall or short? Does it have a large or small opening? Try out how the flowers stand in it. Sometimes you only realize which vase is right when you test it.

Start with a few flowers and then add more blooms and greenery in between. Turn the vase a little bit each time. Is there a gap somewhere? Are all the large flowers on one side? Change your arrangement until you like it.
