Acorn Caps and Marbles
You can create amazing decorations using acorn caps and marbles. It's super quick, really easy, and looks fantastic! The best part: you can get really creative. So, head out to the forest, collect some acorn caps, and then get to the crafting table!
What you'll need
- Acorn caps
- Marbles
- Hot glue gun or craft glue
- String or ribbon
How it works
-
Before you start crafting, you need to go outside and collect acorn caps. They can be found on the ground under oak trees. You need the small 'caps' that sit on the acorns, not the acorns themselves. Collect as many as you want. The more you have, the more decorations you can make.
-
Now it gets exciting! Take a marble and one of the acorn caps. With the hot glue gun (you'll need an adult's help here), put a dab of glue in the cap and gently press the marble in. Be careful not to let the glue overflow.
-
Repeat this with all your marbles and acorn caps until you have a nice collection. Just these little marble caps look super decorative, don't they?
-
Now you can get creative! You can use your acorn caps with colorful marbles for many great decoration ideas. You can tie a string or ribbon to the caps and hang them up.
-
Or simply place the acorn caps on a table or in a bowl. They look great as colorful autumn decorations or as eye-catchers at a party.
-
Maybe someone in your family would also love a handmade gift like this! Each acorn cap looks different, and the colorful marbles make it something really special.
