Paper, Dots, and Triangles. Break Time Game with Stars.
All you need is a piece of paper and some pens. And then a game begins that is more than just a way to pass the time. You will learn to observe closely, plan wisely, and think a step ahead. This game is about dots, lines, and triangles. And about recognizing faster than your opponent when lines form a triangle. If you succeed, you earn a star! And that brings you closer to victory. Whether on the playground, in the classroom, or at home, this game will make you think, laugh, and cheer.
What you'll need
- A4 sheet
- Pens
How it works
-
Take a piece of paper. Draw lots of red dots on it – crisscross, not too close and not too far apart. You can decide how many. Maybe 20? Make sure you leave space to connect them later.
-
Grab a second person. Each gets their own pen in a different color. For example, you can have pink, and your opponent blue. Now you take turns. You can decide who starts with rock-paper-scissors. And then? Let’s go!
-
You may only draw one line at a time. From one dot to another. Important: The line must not already exist! So you can't draw lines twice and you can't cross lines that are already connected. The goal is to connect triangles.
-
As soon as you form a complete triangle with your line, it belongs to you! Now you can draw a small star inside that triangle.
-
The game ends when no more lines can be drawn or all dots are connected. Then you count your stars. Whoever has the most wins!
