Making a Christmas Card with Tape
Christmas is just around the corner, and what could be nicer than giving a handmade card? Create a card featuring a colorful tape Christmas tree. The best part? It's super easy to stick it all together with tape – layer by layer, the tree takes shape! You can choose your own colors and patterns, letting your creativity shine. Let's get started!
What you'll need
- A card
- Colorful tape in Christmas colors
- Star stickers for the top
- A pair of scissors
How it works
-
Start at the bottom of the card and stick the first tape strip horizontally. This strip should be long, as it will form the base of your Christmas tree. Stick additional strips above it, each one getting shorter as you go up. This will gradually create the shape of a Christmas tree.
-
Tip: Try out different tape colors and patterns to give the tree a lively and festive look. Christmas patterns will make your tree even more special and bring extra joy!
-
Once you’re done with the tape strips and your tree has taken shape, you just need to add the trunk. Draw a brown trunk or cut a piece of brown paper and stick it right under the tree. This gives the tree its classic shape and looks really festive.
-
Now for the finishing touch: the star! Cut out a small yellow star from paper or use a star sticker and stick it on top of the Christmas tree. This will make the tree shine and turn the card into something truly special.
