Craft a Popsicle Stick Reindeer
Do you want to make a reindeer that not only looks super cute but can also decorate your room or be a great gift? With just a few popsicle sticks, you can quickly create your own reindeer. It's fun, boosts your creativity, and you can design your reindeer however you like.
What you'll need
- Popsicle sticks for crafting
- Googly eyes
- Craft glue
- Red pom-poms
- Pipe cleaners for the antlers
- Optional: Brown paper for the antlers
- Scissors
- Thread or string
How it works
-
Lay two popsicle sticks in a 'V' shape. Glue them together at the tip.
-
Glue the third popsicle stick horizontally under the open ends of the two upper sticks to form a triangle. Make sure the sticks extend a bit on both sides. This will be your reindeer's face.
-
Glue the red pom-pom at the bottom tip of the triangle. This is Rudolph's bright nose. Stick the googly eyes above the nose. If you don't have googly eyes, you can simply cut them out of paper and draw them.
-
Cut out two antler shapes from brown paper or bend pipe cleaners into an antler shape. Glue or wrap the antlers at the top of the popsicle stick.
-
If you want, you can glue a thread at the top so you can hang your reindeer. Your reindeer is ready! Maybe you can make a few friends for your reindeer. After all, Rudolph needs a team to pull the sleigh!
