Make a Bunny Hat from a Paper Plate

- Paper plate
- Pencil and scissors
- Colored pencils or felt-tip pens
How it works

Take a paper plate and draw two large bunny ears directly on it.

Use pink markers to color the inside of the ears. This makes them look even more realistic.

Carefully cut out the ears. Leave the bottom attached to the plate! This way, you can fold them up right away. So, you're almost completely cutting out the ears. Only the part where they are connected to the plate stays intact. This requires a bit of concentration.

Now fold the cut-out ears upwards. You can bend them a bit forward or backward, whichever you prefer. And now you can see: This is going to be a real bunny hat!

To make sure the hat fits your head, you might need to cut the inner part of the plate a bit larger, but not at the ears! Try it on from time to time to see if the plate fits well on your head.

Now your bunny hat is ready! Put it on, look in the mirror, and think: What adventures could this bunny have? Do you want to play with it? Make someone happy? Create a play? Or make even more hats?
