Lucky Pig Rockets Made from Candy

Lucky Pig Rockets Made from Candy

🎂 6 + years ⏱️ 20 min 📍 Anywhere ⭐ medium

Here you will create small lucky pig rockets using candy. Each rocket gets a pig with a face, a body, and a rocket dress. This way, you create a good luck charm that you can even give away at the end. You think about how everything fits together, practice careful observation, and work diligently. The cherries will later look like pig's feet. It's fun and also trains your dexterity. The muffin cup will become a dress that sticks out cheerfully. At the bottom, the rocket gets a sweet 'stand leg' so it won't tip over. You decide which colors work well and who you want to encourage. This way, you learn: happiness can be shared, and often a small idea is enough to make someone smile.

What you'll need

  • Wooden skewers
  • Gummy cherries as candy
  • Marshmallows
  • Paper muffin cups
  • Scissors

How it works

  1. Gather all the candies, scissors, and wooden skewers. Cut the gummy cherries in half. This creates two 'feet'.

  2. First, place the pig with the face on top of the wooden skewer. Then, slide the two cherry feet onto the skewer below. Now, add a marshmallow as the body under the feet.

  3. Turn a muffin cup upside down and place it like a dress under the marshmallow.

  4. Finally, add another marshmallow at the very bottom. This way, your lucky pig rocket can stand. Done! Think about who you want to make happy with this.
