Guess the Number
The game 'Guess the Number' is a thinking game for two or more players. One player thinks of a number between 0 and 100, and the other player has to try to guess the number. After each guess, the first player gives a hint whether the target number is smaller or larger than the guessed value, until the guessing player correctly identifies the number. The game can be adjusted by changing the range of numbers or the number of attempts to make it easier or harder.
How it works
-
Choose a player to start. This player thinks of a number between 0 and 100 without revealing it to the other players.
-
The second player makes the first guess and says a number they think is the target number. For example, they might say: 'Is it 50?'
-
The first player gives a hint whether the target number is greater or less than the guessed number. For example, they might say: 'The target number is smaller than 50.'
-
The second or next player then makes another guess and eliminates some numbers that they estimate to be too high or too low based on the first player's hint. For example, they might say: 'Is it 18?'
-
The first player continues to give hints about whether the target number is greater or less than the guessed number until the second player guesses the target number. Then you can switch roles, and the next player thinks of a number. Have fun guessing the number!
