Grape Hearts on a Stick – Simple & Delicious!
Try something really special: little hearts made from grapes! They are healthy, look great, and taste amazing. Perfect as a surprise for Mom or Dad on Mother's Day, Father's Day, or just because. But wait, how do you make a heart out of grapes? It's easy. Just a little trick when cutting. Let's get started!
What you'll need
- Grapes
- Wooden skewers
- Child-safe knife
- Cutting board
How it works
-
Pick some nice, firm grapes. The best ones are not too small. You'll also need wooden skewers and a child-safe knife for cutting.
-
Place a grape on the cutting board and hold it firmly. Now cut it diagonally in half. Don't cut straight through, or the trick won't work!
-
Now comes the exciting moment. Turn one half forward so that the round sides of the grape halves meet. Do you see it? A heart shape is forming!
-
To keep the heart together, carefully push a wooden skewer through both halves. Gently press them together so they stick well.
-
How many hearts can fit on one skewer? Place the skewers on a nice plate and surprise someone with your sweet idea. Have fun chopping, marveling, and snacking!
