Create Candle Holders
It's cold and gray outside, but you can make it cozy inside. And what could be cozier than homemade candle holders? Imagine enjoying the warm glow of a candle through a holder that you shaped yourself from modeling clay!
What you'll need
- white modeling clay
- (air-drying)
- acrylic paints
- brushes
- stick candle
How it works

Take the modeling clay and shape it into a small hill or mountain.

Gently press the candle into the center so that it holds well.

Now your artwork needs to dry a bit. Ask an adult or check the packaging instructions for the exact drying time.

You can also create more candle holders. Once your candle holders are dry, you can paint them with your favorite colors. Everything needs to dry well. And then...

When everything is dry, insert your candle and enjoy the warm light! Very important: Only light candles with an adult and never leave them burning unattended. Safety first! Have fun crafting!
