You will create wax ornaments for the Christmas tree. You'll use cookie cutters as molds and candle wax as material. Drop by drop, the cookie cutter fills up until a solid ornament is formed. The idea is simple. You work slowly and mindfully. You observe how the wax is liquid and then solidifies. You realize you need to pay close attention and take your time. Each wax ornament is unique. What you'll need

Baking dish
Water
Cookie cutter
Stick candles
Lighter

How it works

Fill a large bowl with cold water. Choose a few cookie cutters and place one in the water.
An adult lights your candle. Be careful, the fire and wax will be hot! Hold the candle over the cutter and let the wax drip slowly inside.
Wait a bit until the wax is no longer hot. Carefully remove the wax shapes from the cutters.
Use a nail or a piercing needle to make a hole in each ornament. Thread a string through the hole. Now your homemade ornaments are ready! You can hang them anywhere and enjoy them.
