Crafting Tree Spirits
Hello, adventurer! Do you know what tree spirits are? They are fun figures you can make from salt dough and hang on trees. In the past, people believed these spirits protect the forests. Create your own little helpers for the trees. Are you ready? Let's go!
What you'll need
- 1 cup salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon oil
- Natural materials
How it works
-
First, make your salt dough. For this, you need two cups of flour, one cup of salt, one cup of water, and one teaspoon of oil. Mix, knead – and your salt dough for crafting is ready!
-
Now it's time to go outside! Find a tree with rough bark – that's where your dough sticks best. Take a piece of dough and gently press it against the bark. Make sure it sticks well. This way, your tree spirit will stay in place.
-
Now it gets colorful! Take leaves, small twigs, whatever you find, and make your spirits look really fancy.
-
Awesome, you did it! Look at your wonderful tree spirits. They look great! After the fun, take the dough back with you so the salt doesn't get into the soil. Salt is not good for the ground and plants. With you, nature stays healthy and happy!
