Crafting a Maple Crown
Get ready for a royal adventure in nature! Today, let's embark on a magical journey into an enchanted forest to search for a rare and beautiful treasure - the crown of the Maple King! We only need maple leaves - lots of them - and their stems. Now, let's dive into our leafy DIY project!
What you'll need
- Maple leaves
How it works
-
Go outside and look for maple trees. Collect plenty of bright, beautiful maple leaves. Make sure to gather the leaves with stems, as we will need them later.
-
Once you have enough leaves, carefully separate the stems from the leaves. Please be very gentle, we don't want to tear any leaves.
-
Take each leaf and bend it about in the middle. Do this with all your leaves.
-
Now take a stem and thread it through the bent ends of two leaves, like a pin. Repeat this until you have a long chain of leaves.
-
When your leaf chain is long enough to fit around your head, take the last and first leaf and connect them with another stem.
-
Now you have a stunning maple crown! Congratulations, you are now proud Maple Kings and Queens! Have fun playing in nature!
