Crafting a Gnome
Today, you'll create your very own little gnome. Do you know what a gnome is? A gnome is a tiny, cheerful creature that lives in the forest. And today, you'll bring a bit of that magical world into your day.
What you'll need
- A4 felt sheet
- Cotton wool
- Glue or sewing supplies
- Pom-pom
- Stick
- Pine cone
How it works
-
First, the hat: Before you head out, craft a pointed hat at home. Take a piece of colorful felt, cut it into a cone shape, and glue or sew the sides together.
-
Now it's time to go outside: Put on your explorer boots! You'll need a stick and a pine cone from the forest. The stick will be the body, and the pine cone will be the head of your gnome.
-
Now let's craft: Attach the pine cone to the top of the stick with a pipe cleaner. Doesn't it already look funny?
-
Finally, the decoration: Place the hat on the pine cone and give your gnome a fluffy cotton wool beard. A small round pom-pom will be its nose.
-
And ta-da! There it is, your cheerful gnome, ready to accompany you on all your adventures! Show your friends the amazing gnomes you've created!
