What you'll need

  • A4 felt sheet
  • Cotton wool
  • Glue or sewing supplies
  • Pom-pom
  • Stick
  • Pine cone

How it works

  1. First, the hat: Before you head out, craft a pointed hat at home. Take a piece of colorful felt, cut it into a cone shape, and glue or sew the sides together.

  2. Now it's time to go outside: Put on your explorer boots! You'll need a stick and a pine cone from the forest. The stick will be the body, and the pine cone will be the head of your gnome.

  3. Now let's craft: Attach the pine cone to the top of the stick with a pipe cleaner. Doesn't it already look funny?

  4. Finally, the decoration: Place the hat on the pine cone and give your gnome a fluffy cotton wool beard. A small round pom-pom will be its nose.

  5. And ta-da! There it is, your cheerful gnome, ready to accompany you on all your adventures! Show your friends the amazing gnomes you've created!
