Mummy Light from a Jar
Do you want your very own mummy that glows in the dark? With a simple jar, some bandage, and two googly eyes, you can make one in no time! Note: If you use a real tea light, please do not leave the mummy unattended. The LED candle is the safer option here.
What you'll need
- A clean jar
- Bandage or gauze
- Two googly eyes
- An LED candle
- Optional: glue
How it works
-
Start by wrapping the jar with the bandage or gauze. You can layer it several times to make it look like a real mummy. Make sure to leave some space at the top and bottom so the jar stands stable.
-
Now, stick the two googly eyes onto the bandage so it looks like the mummy is looking at you.
-
Place the tea light or LED candle inside the jar and turn it on. The bandage will soften the light, giving off a mysterious glow.
-
Now you have your very own glowing mummy! Put it in the window, on the table, or anywhere it can shine. Have fun crafting and getting spooked!
