A4 sheet of paper

How it works

Take the long side of the sheet and fold one third of it inward. Press the fold firmly so it holds well.
Fold the folded part over itself again to create a double layer of paper.
Fold the paper strip one more time to create a sturdy edge of about one centimeter. This edge will make the paper airplane strong and stable.
Now your paper is ready to be shaped. Bend the folded paper strip into a ring. Interlock the ends of the strip so they overlap well and hold together. If the ring isn't stable enough, you can secure it with some tape or glue.
Now your paper airplane is ready to conquer the skies. You can test how far and high it can fly. Tip: Give the paper airplane a slight spin when you throw it. Also, try different throwing techniques.
