Make a Snowman Christmas Card
Christmas cards are something special, especially when they are handmade! With an empty toilet paper roll and a bit of imagination, you can create a fun snowman card. This creative idea is enjoyable, easy to do, and brings a smile to everyone’s face. Let’s get started!
What you'll need
- Blank card or thick colored paper
- An empty toilet paper roll
- White acrylic paint
- Orange colored paper for the nose
- Black marker
- Craft glue
- Cotton swabs for the snow
- Scissors
How it works
-
Cut the toilet paper roll into three equal rings. These will be the snowballs of your snowman. Make sure the pieces are cut cleanly so they stick well to the card. Take your blank card and glue the three rings on top of each other.
-
Fill the three rings with white acrylic paint. Use a brush and paint evenly until the balls shine like a real snowman. Let the paint dry well.
-
Dip a cotton swab into the white acrylic paint and dab small snow dots around the snowman on the card. This makes it look like it’s snowing. Let everything dry well.
-
Cut out a small carrot nose from paper and glue it onto the top ball. Draw two eyes and a mouth with small dots using the marker. Draw two branches as arms on the middle ring with the marker. Also, paint three buttons in a row on the middle ball.
-
This Christmas card is not only a real eye-catcher but also a wonderful gift that comes from the heart. Have fun crafting and enjoy a magical Christmas time!
