How it works

Take a walk in the park or forest with your family or friends and look for insects. Bring a magnifying glass to observe them closely. Share what you know about the insects and listen to others when they share something exciting about these little creatures.

Now find lots of different insects and take a close look: How big are they? What shape and color do they have? How do they move? At the end, you can check together with your friends and family which insects you all discovered.

Bring a camera or smartphone and take photos of the insects you find. Later, look at the photos together and identify the insects. Create a photo album or collage as a memory of your safari.
