In this idea, you're not just searching for treasure. You're also learning how to use a camera. You decide: What should be in the picture? How much can you see? You observe your surroundings closely. How it works

Before you start, you'll need a camera or a phone with a camera function. Ask an adult if you can use it or if they want to join in. Show each other how to take a picture. How to view a photo. How to delete it. Maybe take a few snapshots first.
One child goes first. They take a small object and hide it. It can be something to snack on or a toy. Indoors or outdoors, that's up to you. Then the child takes a photo. Not of everything, just a part or detail.
The child returns to the group but doesn't reveal anything! They show the photo. The others look closely. What do they see? Wood? Grass? A color? A shadow? An edge? Now everyone thinks together: Where could this be?
The children can search together, indoors or outdoors, and try to find the treasure based on the picture. They might need to look several times. They might be mistaken. It might take several attempts, but in the end, there will be a loud: 'Found it!'
Once the treasure is found, it's the next child's turn. They take a new treasure or the same one and find a new hiding spot. Again, a part is photographed. This continues in turns. Everyone gets a turn. Everyone is a riddle creator and a treasure seeker.
