- Balloons
- Marker
- String
- Scissors
- Wooden skewer
How it works

Inflate 7 balloons and, if you like, put a note with a surprise or activity inside each balloon. It can be anything – a riddle, a dance, or a game.

Write a time on each balloon – from 6 PM to midnight. Attach the balloons to a string in your living room or wherever your New Year's party is taking place.

Starting at 6 PM, pop a balloon every hour and see what surprise or activity is inside. Maybe it’s a joke to tell, a little dance, or a fun game.
